If you use a credit or debit card at The Wash Stop, the End Charges button tells the payment system that you're finished and ready to close your wash session.
Many customers ask what happens if they forget to press it before leaving.
What Does End Charges Do?
The End Charges button immediately closes your wash session and allows the system to finalize your transaction.
Once pressed, your session ends and the wash equipment can no longer be activated using that transaction.
What Happens If I Forget to Press It?
If you leave the bay without pressing End Charges, your wash session will remain active.
The system will automatically close the session when it reaches:
20 minutes, or
$20.00 in charges
Whichever occurs first.
To avoid additional charges, always press End Charges before leaving the bay.
Do I Need to Press End Charges to Add More Time?
No.
At The Wash Stop, you only pay for the time you actually use. There is no need to purchase additional time blocks or restart your session while washing.
If you're still washing your vehicle, simply continue using the bay.
Only press End Charges when you're completely finished.
I Pressed End Charges Too Early. What Should I Do?
This happens from time to time, especially for customers who are used to car washes that operate on fixed time blocks.
If you accidentally press End Charges before you're finished, complete your wash and then give us a call.
We'll be happy to review the transaction with you and help resolve the situation.
When Should I Press End Charges?
Press End Charges after:
You have finished washing your vehicle.
You have finished using the air dryer.
You are ready to leave the bay.
It should be the last thing you do before pulling out of the bay.
The Bottom Line
Only press End Charges when you're completely finished using the bay. If you forget, the system will automatically stop at 20 minutes or $20.00. If you accidentally press End Charges too soon, finish your wash and give us a call - we're happy to help.
